Swiss Pocket Knife of Digitization

For 130 years, the “Swiss Army and Sports Knife” has been the epitome of a multifunctional tool. It was to contain all the attachments necessary for eating as well as for disassembling and assembling the Schmidt Rubin Infantry Rifle Model 1989: in addition to the knife and a can opener, a slotted screwdriver and awl. In this respect it is the forefather of all multifunctional tools – from the drill with different attachments for sawing, grinding and of course drilling, to the cordless screwdriver with bins for hexagon, slotted, cross and hexagonal screws, to the actesy metadata framework with more than 250 adaptors for the interaction of the most diverse software worlds.

Thus the actesy metadata framework today has more functions and interfaces than the largest of all Swiss pocket knives with no less than 141 functions (including such indispensable tools as magnifying glass, toothpicks and laser pointers). Unlike the actesy metadata framework, however, the “Wenger Giant” is no longer available. The “Swiss Army Knife of Digitization” is suitable for practically every challenge in information technology. It should therefore not be missing in any company.

Enterprise Application Integration

With 250 easy-to-use system connections (adaptors), practically all common enterprise solutions can be linked together at the data, function and process level under a uniform user interface, without the original solutions losing their release capability.

Data exchange between all systems

Through a normalized and individually configurable data model, the separate application silos can exchange data among themselves and access common data pools.

Cross-system processes

With the help of the modeling tool included in the actesy metadata framework, new business processes can be individually designed, whereby functions from different (and separate) applications can be accessed. With the graphical specification language BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation), the business processes are not only designed but their execution is also monitored.

Process automation Also included in the actesy metadata framework is the actesy Robotics Process Automation (RPA) function, which allows processes to be automated according to defined rules and using artificial intelligence for data and processes.

Agile and modular conception

The actesy metadata framework completely adapts to the individual needs when defining new business processes. Thereby, the further development of the existing IT can be advanced in individual sprints in an agile and modular way.

Flexible development environment

For this purpose, the actesy metadata framework has its own, extremely flexible development environment which allows the creation of fast (ad-hoc) as well as sustainable solutions without interfering with existing applications and thus enables a fast return on investment (ROI).

Cross-System Rights Management

The administration of access and user rights is carried out with the tool actesy Rights Management uniformly on all integrated application systems as well as on the newly created integration solutions – and this on file, function and process level.

Automatic validation and documentation

The automated testing and validation of both existing systems and newly created integration solutions is possible with actesy (ValEasy). An audit trail for data and processes is also created so that the validation can be automatically repeated at any time – for example after modification of one of the subsystems.

With the actesy metadata framework, your digitization strategy will also succeed. It fits – like the Swiss Army Knife – in every pocket of a successful IT manager. Order it today!
